These Terms & Conditions apply to all bookings, stays, and services provided by Reconnect Island Resort (“the Resort”). By making a reservation or entering the property, guests agree to these Terms.
All rates include applicable taxes and three meals per day, unless stated otherwise.
Prices may change without prior notice until a booking is confirmed.
Age categories:
Infant: 0–3 years (free of charge)
Child: 3–11 years
Adult: 12+ years
Rates include breakfast, lunch, and dinner per night of stay
Missed meals—whether due to late arrival, early departure, transport delays, external activities, or personal choice—are not refundable and cannot be compensated.
Meal inclusions are tied to nights paid, not meals consumed.
Full payment is required at the time of reservation to confirm a booking.
Accepted payment methods: credit/debit cards, bank transfer, WISE.
Bookings made through OTAs are subject to the payment and cancellation terms shown on the respective platform.
Check-in: 12:00 PM
Check-out: 10:00 AM
Times may vary based on boat schedules or operational requirements.
Early check-in and late check-out depend on availability and may incur extra charges.
Cancellations and date changes follow the Resort’s Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
The Cancellation Policy prevails in the event of any discrepancy.
Minors are welcome but must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
Parents or guardians remain fully responsible for the behavior and safety of their children at all times.
Parents must ensure that their children respect the comfort, privacy, and tranquility of other guests.
Different pricing applies based on age categories.
The Resort is remote and does not offer specialized accessibility facilities.
Staff will provide reasonable assistance when possible, but natural terrain and logistical limitations apply.
Service animals are permitted.
Reconnect assists guests in coordinating transport but does not operate most land or sea transfers.
This includes:
Cars from Luwuk, Palu, Poso, Toraja, and other cities
Boats between islands such as Kadidiri, Bomba, Malenge, Una-Una, and other locations
The Resort is not liable for:
delays, cancellations, or missed connections
schedule changes
breakdowns or accidents
additional costs
any issues occurring during third-party services
Missed connections remain the guest’s responsibility.
Guests participate in all activities at their own risk.
This includes, but is not limited to:
snorkeling
scuba diving
kayaking
stand-up paddleboarding
hiking and nature trails
wildlife encounters
swimming
boat transfers
any land or water activity on or around the property
The Resort:
does not accept liability for injuries, accidents, or property loss during any activity
provides equipment on a “use at your own risk” basis
requires scuba diving activities to be subject to signing a separate waiver
Guests must follow all safety instructions provided by the staff.
Guests are financially responsible for:
broken or missing items
damage to rooms, facilities, or equipment
excessive cleaning resulting from misuse
damage caused intentionally or through negligence
Charges may be applied to the guest’s payment card or invoiced directly.
Drones are allowed under the following conditions:
They must not disturb guest privacy.
They must not disrupt the peace and quiet of the Resort.
They must not interfere with staff operations.
The Resort reserves the right to restrict or prohibit drone use if necessary.
Smoking is strictly prohibited in all rooms, at the dive center, on the boat and inside the restaurant and all shared areas
Smoking is permitted outdoors and on private terraces, provided it does not disturb other guests.
Alcohol is available for purchase at the Resort.
Guests may consume alcohol responsibly in public areas and private terraces.
The Resort may refuse service or intervene if behavior becomes unsafe or disruptive.
Pets are not allowed on the property.
The Resort may host private or public events.
Some events may require full-property privatization.
Guests wishing to host an event must receive written approval.
Additional fees and separate terms may apply.
The Resort is not liable for:
theft
loss
forgotten items
damage to personal belongings
Guests are responsible for securing their valuables.
The Resort is not liable for delays, cancellations, or changes caused by events beyond its control, including:
weather
natural disasters
transportation disruptions
political events
health emergencies
Alternative solutions will be offered when possible, but refunds are not guaranteed.
Guest information may be collected and used for:
managing reservations
guest communication
operational improvements
internal marketing and service feedback
Information is not shared with third parties except when legally required (police, immigration..) or necessary to provide booked services.
Any issue or dispute should first be raised with the Resort management for amicable resolution. If no resolution is reached, legal matters will be governed by Indonesian law and handled by the court of Poso, Central Sulawesi.
If any part of these Terms is found invalid, the remaining provisions remain fully effective.
